What is AR?

Augmented Reality or AR is sometimes referred to as Mixed Reality and can be accessed from something as easy as a smart phone, right up to a state of the art Microsoft HoloLens headset.

AR has a multitude of applications that are all focused on an enhanced and interactive user experience.

Imagine reality but with a virtual overlay.

Using an HUD (Heads up Display) the user has the ability to interact with virtual things in the real world.

Augmented Reality has many potential uses and can be applied to just about any industry.

From providing information in an easy to understand format to displaying digital media that cannot fit on signs and billboards to a blow-your-mind gaming experience, AR can do it all.

Imagine being at a historic site and being able to point your phone at a display plaque and have that plaque start to play an interactive video about the site itself.

What about being able to put on an HUD and walk with dinosaurs and explore their habitat? With AR, you can turn a humble business card into a display panel for a personal video for your customers and clients and all they need to watch it, is a smart phone.
